Dame Kitty
Drag Artist & Compere
Born in a wagon of a travelling show Kitty used to dance for the money they throw... Oops! That was Cher.
But Kitty is no stranger to Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves; she grew up the youngest daughter of that great Cabaret Duo "Gladys and Mitch" Stilt Walkers to the Stars!
After missing the circus leaving town in Budapest she waved goodbye to her family and toured Europe entertaining the locals with her Sword Swallowing act.
Kitty was showing the Russian troops a thing or two at "Checkpoint Charlie" when she accidently banged too hard against the Berlin wall and brought it crashing down! She changed history!
She had no passport so hid out on the back of a lorry from Calais with 30 other migrants. In fear for her life Kitty jumped overboard mid channel and found herself washed up under the pier in Bournemouth.
After a tough few weeks living on the streets Kitty got a job in a local charity shop by day, borrowing some of the stunning outfits by night to go and sing in local care homes.
Sir Victor FonFon, an 89 year old resident, fell for Kitty and within a week they were married, sadly the marriage only lasted one night and Victor died a happy man after Kitty accidently rolled over in the night and suffocated him!
Kitty found she was alone again, but rich, for Victor was a secret millionaire doing undercover work in the home.
From that day Kitty decided to dedicate her life to making people happy and she set up Rubyz initially as a drop in centre. Soon the masses were demanding Kitty sang again and so Rubyz became a "Cabaret Restaurant and Club"... Where people are free to drop in anytime and enjoy the magical world of "Kitty land"
Aunty Kitty as she likes to be addressed (since she was stripped of her Dame'ness for spilling the beans on Prince Phillip's Nut allergy!) has vowed to bring joy to the masses and on dark nights if you are very lucky she can still be seen under the pier doing even more charity work!
